Dana Byquist

Dana Byquist

Wealth Manager

Dana Byquist developed an interest in finance at an early age. In middle school, his favorite class was a stock market course, where his curiosity about investing and natural affinity for numbers first began to grow. At the time, he simply enjoyed learning about markets and money; over the years, he came to appreciate how powerful financial literacy can be in helping people build stability, opportunity, and peace of mind.

Dana graduated from Principia College with a degree in history and spent five years in Boston working in historical research. He later returned to Principia to work in the Student Life Department, where he supported students as they navigated the academic and personal challenges of college life. In that role, he helped students clarify their goals and build plans to achieve them—an experience that would ultimately shape his approach to working with financial clients.

After more than a decade of personally investing, Dana transitioned into the financial services industry, combining his passion for helping people with his long-standing interest in investing and financial planning. He believes that strong financial advice begins with listening. Every client has unique goals, values, and concerns, and Dana enjoys building long-term relationships while helping clients create clear, organized plans for their financial future. While saving is an important foundation, he believes thoughtful investing and disciplined planning are key steps toward long-term financial success.

Dana is a registered financial advisor and has passed the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 exams. He also holds a life license, allowing him to provide a broader perspective on financial planning.

Outside of work, Dana enjoys an active lifestyle. He loves playing and watching sports—especially soccer—and is an avid Manchester United fan. He has traveled to more than 20 countries and loves exploring new cultures, foods, and historic locations. Most of his downtime is spent with his cat Maxamillian, who expects attention regularly.

Dana looks forward to helping individuals, families, and institutions gain clarity, confidence, and direction in their financial lives.
